The Royal Glasgow Institute of Fine Arts (RGI) Kelly Gallery are excited and proud to announce a unique exhibition of Turner Prize nominees. All of the artists featured in the exhibition have trained, at one point, at the esteemed Glasgow School of Art. All seventeen artists have been nominated for the prestigious Turner Prize including David Shrigley, Jim Lambie, Christine Borland and Ciara Phillips. This is the first time that the works have been exhibited together; many from private collections will allow an exclusive glimpse of the immense talent from GSA. The exhibition is curated by Sam Ainsley and Adrian Wiszniewski.
The exhibition includes works by Turner Prize winners including Douglas Gordon (1996), Simon Starling (2005), Richard Wright (2009) and Martin Boyce (2011).
The exhibition officially opens on the 28th and will run until the 2nd November, Tuesday-Saturday 10-5pm.
