The Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts (RGI) are currently looking for expressions of interest for new people to sit on it’s board. We are looking for people with a positive and ‘can-do-attitude’ who can dedicate 5-10 hours per month to the position.
About the RGI
The RGI is an independent charitable organisation promoting and encouraging Scotland’s contemporary art and artists. It is the third largest organisation of its kind in the UK and holds a gallery space at The Kelly Gallery, 118 Douglas Street, Glasgow, G2 4ET.
We support artists at all stages of their career through various means including:
Encouraging young people to enjoy art through our highly respected education programme.
The RGI Graduate Award
Exhibitions, talks and workshops held at the Kelly Gallery and online.
Annual Artist Film Festival
Various inclusive membership options
We are looking for vibrant and active people with an interest in art to help support the RGI’s work. We are particularly interested in people who have skills in the following areas:
Marketing & PR
Fundraising & Sponsorship
Social media
Law
Education & Outreach
