Born 1929

Elected to RSW 1966.

Trained Coventry and Edinburgh Colleges of Art, 20 solo shows over four decades. Married George Mackie and has 2 daughters. Visiting Lecturer Gray’s School of Art, Aberdeen 1970 – 1980. 80 commissioned portraits, many of children.

ARTISTS STATEMENT:
“Four decades of working within my domestic environment (Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Stamford) have proved fulfilling. Visiting Italy for the first time in 1973 was a huge and enduring influence”.

2000 – Royal Scottish Academy William Macaulay – Scottish Gallery Award
