Biography

Worked as a carpet designer for a few years before the war. After attending evening classes at the Glasgow School of Art, he enrolled full time for the school’s diploma course, graduating in 1950. Worked with Edinburgh Tapestry’s Dovecot Studios for eight years and was a mural painter. Taught in Secondary School 1964-1980.
