I am an artist working with landscape, with recent artwork most influenced by time spent in the Arctic through residencies to Baffin Island, Norway and recently the Morvern peninsula.

These encounters with remote elemental places, and wildlife have drawn me into a process of deep looking.

As the ice retreats and the climate changes, my work reflects on an emotional and fragile interconnection between humanity and the natural world.

A world period of profound transition.

Yet at the same time the landscape still retains a luminous captivating presence, both vast and intimate, inviting contemplation, stillness and calm.
