Studied Drawing and Painting at the Glasgow School of Art, then decided to teach, which I loved.

After getting married and having two children, I still taught part time, but having time to paint, got less and less, unfortunately.

I am now, once again, into the swing of it, and spend hours in my studio, doing what I always wanted to do….paint!

I am an elected member of the Glasgow Art Club and also the Glasgow Society of Women Artists. I was awarded a PAI in 2025. I have received awards from the RSW and the Glasgow Art Club.

I have paintings in Renfrewshire Education Authority, Inverclyde Education Authority, Strathclyde University and Princeton University.
