David Schofield
RGI

David Schofield is an artist who loves to tell a story, but never in an obvious way.

David’s approach to his work, be it painting or illustration, uses not only a strong narrative but also a unique way of looking at the world, creating magical and profound pieces which reveal themselves through layers of meaning and depth. A window into our deepest desires and fears.

Having trained as an illustrator and printmaker at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee, David has gone on to have a successful career as a painter with his work exhibited throughout the UK in galleries, institutions and private collections of note.

He has been the recipient of several prestigious awards and is delighted to have recently been elected an RGI.
