I was born in 1950 in Kirkwall, Orkney.

Graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 1972.

Worked as an art teacher and primary school art specialist until 2007 when I retired to concentrate fully on painting.

I am a professional member of Paisley Art Institute and Visual Arts Scotland.

I have exhibited widely throughout the U.K. including the Royal Society of Watercolors, the Royal Society of Portrait Painters.

I have had work purchased by Gracefield Arts Centre, and Glasgow University.
