‘Alastair, days during lockdown’ by Nicola Carberry
77 x 58 cm, graphite on paper, unframed
My work takes place in life, drawings are a result of numerous sessions and layers, emphasising the passage of time. Figures are glimpsed in the background like half remembered recollections; actors about to go on stage, dancers waiting in the wings, figures deep in thought. The drawing builds its own narrative over time.
