The Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts are pleased to announce David Mach RA will be delivering a lecture to accompany his current solo exhibition, Heaven & Hell.
The lecture will take place on the 7th October 7pm at The RGI Kelly Gallery, 118 Douglas Street.

David Mach RA is one of the UK’s most successful, prolific and respected artists, known for his dynamic and large scale collage, sculpture and installations using a wide range of materials including coat hangers, matches, newspapers and many other recognisable and familiar objects to create his work.
A graduate of the Royal College of Art, Mach is now a Royal Academician and Professor of Inspiration and Discovery at Dundee University.
Mach exhibits worldwide and continues on a furious schedule constantly developing new ideas, new works and new materials. He has recently branched out to music and writing feeding his ever growing needs for creativity and artistic inspiration.
David Mach is currently showcasing his Heaven & Hell exhibition at the Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts, 118 Douglas Street. The exhibition consists of large scale collages each depicting various scenes from ‘heaven’ or from ‘hell’. For this show Mach has created new work, featuring Glasgow landmarks including Kelvingrove Museum, Science Museum, Finnieston Crane, Transport Museum, Tall Ship, Hydro and George Square as part of the series.
The exhibition runs Saturday 25 September – Saturday 16 October 2021
